This year we were asked to come to the prison as a church and sing Christmas Carols to the men in the different wings. While we are not allowed to photograph the men the Chaplain took photos of us in each of the wing we sang in. Fourteen people attend from our church and seem to enjoy being a witness for Christ.
In November 2019 we started running Anger Resolution Courses in the Rolleston Prison. Because it is the last stage of the prisoner time in prison often the men don’t get to complete the course. However, it is wonderful to see our Lord backup His Word as we share how being born again into the Kingdom of God can give them deliverance from Anger that they long for.
In 2024 we were asked by the Chaplain to come and hold church services in the different wings of the prison. I have four men who go with me every fortnight into the different wings of the prison to minister God’s Word to the men. We have had some very good feedback from the prisoner. It is a Joy to share God’s Word with the men!
